In small villages, charging demand is limited but real, while a separate charging plaza can be costly and spatially intrusive. Luz y carga explores whether one integrated charging streetlight is the right first step.

From local need
to testable pilot.
The project is deliberately designed as one small pilot. Technical feasibility, municipal need and management come first; possible scaling follows only after evaluation.
Integration concept
A Type 2 charging point is integrated into a streetlight solution so lighting and charging share one public location.
Technical principles
OCPP, RFID and load balancing provide the basis for access, management and grid capacity. CityCharge and Nedal solutions are being explored; no supplier is final.
Municipal proposal
The pilot is being prepared for discussion with Benasau municipality. Location, ownership, installation, operation and evaluation must be agreed together.
